golang-goprotobuf-dev software package provides Protocol buffer support for the Go programming language, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-goprotobuf-dev
golang-goprotobuf-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-goprotobuf-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-goprotobuf-dev *
You will get with golang-goprotobuf-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
